Our take · based on published features

Is Even G2 right for you?

A shortlist for glanceable text, subtitles and prepared speaking prompts in everyday-looking glasses, rather than a personal cinema.

A good fit if…

  • You want a script, translation or brief information in your line of sight.
  • You want a camera-free frame with prescription lens options.

Limits to check

  • The green text display is designed for information. It is not a full-color video or gaming monitor.
  • There is no camera for photos or camera-based AI. Integrated microphones still provide information input.
  • Do not assume that a prepared script and contextual conversation prompts behave the same way; choose the appropriate app feature.

What your setup needs

  • Use the current Even Realities App for G2 pairing; the older dedicated G1 app is a different app.
  • For Teleprompt, import or type your script in the phone app and select AI, manual or automatic scrolling.
  • The optional Even R1 ring adds discreet control and pairs through the phone app. It is a separate purchase.
  • Online prescription orders support single-vision lenses. For progressive lenses, consult an authorized optician; supply an accurate pupillary-distance measurement.

Plan the full cost

Allow for your prescription and lens-index choice. Add the R1 only if its control method is useful to you; compare the complete configured price rather than the base frame alone.
